Since I was a kid I have been around computers. Both of my parents were programmers and I grew up watching my father tinker on computers we had at home. It is here that my passion for tinkering started. I worked on my car, build playhouses, made jewelry and used to build elaborate houses for my rodents. I still get to tinker just with a keyboard not power tools. I always wished I was more creative like a writer. Coding is a way for me to create something beautiful with words.

My skill set consists of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Javascript, jQuery, Express, React, Redux, NodeJS, MySQL, GraphQL, Git, and MongoDB.

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I am married with two fur babies. My family immigrated from Brazil. I currently hold an American and Brazilian citizenship. I am currently working on obtaining my Portuguese citizenship. My native language is English and I have intermediate fluency in Portuguese. I studied finance for my Bachelor's degree. I have taken some Master's courses in Project Management. I currently work for a retirement financial institution. Previously I worked in their contact center and currently work as a fraud analyst.
